Twinsburg, Ohio-based J.T. Eaton named Dale Baker as the company’s next president. Baker will be responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction and overall operations.

Baker has been vice president of sales since 2005 at J.T. Eaton, or as he calls it, “J.T. Awesome.” He is the third generation of the Baker family to run the family-owned and -operated business, which was established in 1932.

“In an extreme case of nepotism,” Baker joked in the news release, “It’s an incredible honor to be named the president of the organization my family built. I’ve worked very hard to put my piece of the puzzle in place. To be recognized this way confirms that my puzzle piece has contributed to the overall.”

Baker’s experience with J.T. Eaton started at seven years old, when he started going to the factory with his grandfather, Stanley Z. Baker, who is a Pest Management Professional Hall of Famer (Class of 1999).

“I always loved going to J.T. Eaton with my grandfather and my father,” Baker said. “I will never forget the smell of these massive machines cranking out Peanut Butter Bait Blocks. It was my favorite smell. The only bummer was the days they were running Fish Flavor Bait Block…Mental note: We need to bring that back!”

Baker worked alongside his grandfather, uncle and father, learning about the business and the pest control industry. In his role as vice president of sales, Baker steered the company back to its roots of innovation, leading the launch of Bait Block for Rodents and Ticks and ZendoZones Fruit Fly Traps.

“Everyone on the team is an extended family member,” Baker said. “JTeam Eaton is the reason we have been so successful. We have passionate and creative team members.”
