The Wisconsin Chapter of Professional Women in Pest Management (PWIPM) sponsored a supply drive for the Hope House of South-Central Wisconsin during the Wisconsin Pest Control Association’s (WPCA) Midwest PestCon Conference on Feb. 7 and 8.

Donated items helped to fulfill the Hope House’s wish list, including bottled water, clothing, cleaning supplies and food. Outside of the supply drive, the Wisconsin Chapter of PWIPM also held a meet-and-greet event following the conference, so women in attendance could network, learn from one another and build relationships with others in the industry.

The Wisconsin Chapter of PWIPM was established just over a year ago. Since then, the chapter has been growing in numbers under the leadership of Neerland and Vice Chair, Janice Crisostomo, of Terminix. Neerland and Crisostomo hope to build partnerships with not only pest management professionals in the state, but also women and girls in the community to encourage industry interest.
