Tacoma, Wash.-based Sprague Pest Solutions hosted employees across its 10-state service area for its eighth annual Awards Gala on Feb. 15-16 in Tacoma.

Ross Treleven, president of Sprague Pest Solutions, welcomed team members to the two-day event that included regional, branch, operations and sales managers.

“Gathering to celebrate the significant achievements of our fellow team members is part of the fabric that makes Sprague special,” Treleven said in the news release. “The energy and comradery that comes out of being together is what has driven Sprague throughout its long history and is what will lead us into the future.”

The highlight of the meeting was the annual awards banquet that recognized both individual and team accomplishments across Sprague’s multi-state operations for their work in 2022.

Taking home Branch of the Year honors for the second year in a row – a first in Sprague history – was the Portland, Ore., branch. Portland was recognized for its exceptional performance in meeting and exceeding production and quality assurance (QA) metrics, client reviews and retention, sales performance, and safety standards.

“To be a part of this annual event, shake hands with all the nominees, and to hear their stories, was an amazing experience,” said Shane Hartnett, Cascade regional manager for Sprague. “Our region winning Salesperson of the Year, Technician of the Year and Branch of the Year, is an honor. Celebrating their hard work in style was the perfect way to start 2023.”

New in 2022 was the renaming of the Home Office Award to the Alfred H. Treleven, III, Home Office Champion in honor of Sprague Chairman and CEO Alfie Treleven. Treleven joined the company in 1981 and, along with his brother, Larry, has grown Sprague’s service footprint beyond the Puget Sound region to become the largest privately owned pest management company dedicated solely to the commercial market in the United States.
