Target Specialty Products will host a free webinar entitled “BB State of the Bed Bug Market” on Sept. 14 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern.

The speaker for the webinar will be Matthew Remmen, technical market development manager at Envu.

Remmen will discuss:

  • Why are bed bugs an issue?
  • Inspections and detection
  • Control
  • Field-learned lessons
  • Technical developments and research
  • Tropical bed bugs and common bed bugs
  • Bed bug resistance research

Remmen is an entomologist with expertise across all facets of pest management. He has extensive experience controlling bed bugs, termites and ants. Remmen is particularly skilled in training and educating pest control professionals and technicians on best practices.

He has been an instructor with the University of Florida for more than 10 years, where he trains the next generation of pest management professionals. Remmen earned both his bachelor’s degree and his master’s degree in entomology from the University of Florida.
