The National Pest Management Association (NPMA) hosted its 28th Academy July 18-20 in Scottsdale, Ariz., at The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa. The event is designed to be an opportunity for pest management professionals (PMPs) to expand their networks, enhance leadership skills and accelerate their businesses.

As with previous incarnations, the NPMA Academy is all about sportsmanship and team spirit. There were a variety of physical competitions, mental challenges and team tasks during the “Academy Olympic Games” that got attendees to get up on their feet, their minds working and their enthusiasm recharged. Most of all, the NPMA Academy’s intent is to make attendees view industry meetings in a new light. In addition to the golf tournament, competitive events and sunrise yoga, the NPMA Academy presented several general sessions and learning labs on a variety of topics.

The premiere sponsor of the 2023 NPMA Academy was Corteva Agriscience. Additional sponsors included BASF, Envu, MGK, Syngenta and WorkWave. Learn more about the 2024 NPMA Academy at Academy.npmapestworld.org.
