Abell Pest Control will donate $20,000 to local food banks across North America to support communities during challenging economic times as part of the company’s “12 Days of Giving” campaign to coincide with Giving Tuesday.
“In times of economic uncertainty, businesses must step up and support those in need,” Brett MacKillop, president of Abell Pest Control, said in the news release. “Our commitment to community welfare remains steadfast, and we hope this donation and our “12 Days of Giving” initiative inspire others to contribute to the well-being of their associates and the communities we operate in.”
Abell Pest Control’s “12 Days of Giving” continued on Nov. 29 by distributing an additional $500 check for each employee, with taxes paid. The initiative aims to encourage employees to pay it forward and support local businesses during the holiday season, while also showcasing the company’s commitment to caring for its people and extending goodwill to the community.
In addition, from Dec. 8 to Dec. 20, Abell Pest Control branches will gather non-perishable food items and welcome the community to join in the collective effort. With branch offices across North America, Abell Pest Control provides a widespread network of food collection points. The Etobicoke, Ontario-based company is committed to coordinating the delivery of these essential items to local food banks.
Abell Pest Control’s “12 Days of Giving” campaign can be followed on its social media platforms: X (formerly known as Twitter), Instagram and Facebook, using the hashtag #12AbellDays.
