Waltham Services acquires Empire Pest Control

The Aust Group announces the acquisition of its Marlborough, Mass.-based client, Empire Pest Control, to Waltham Services, a Waltham, Mass.-based subsidiary of Atlanta, Ga.-based Rollins Inc.

Empire Pest Control is a full-service pest and termite control business, offering services to commercial and residential customers throughout eastern Massachusetts. Established in 2004 by Ken and Diane Cyphers, Empire is an active member of both the National Pest Management Association (NPMA) and the New England Pest Management Association (NEPMA).

“What an incredible job The Aust Group did in representing, marketing, and helping us sell our pest control company,” the Cypherses said in a news release. “We had never sold a business before and even the thought of it was downright stressful. Choosing The Aust Group immediately paid dividends as their professional and calming influence allowed us to run our business without disruption and to focus on our family, employees, and customers.”

The Aust Group represented Empire Pest Control on the transaction, which closed Nov. 8, 2023. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
