FMC to host March First Friday webinar on mosquitoes

FMC True Champions will host its next First Friday webinar, titled “Mosquito Control,” on March 8 at 10:30 a.m. Eastern.

“Mosquito Control” is a one-hour continuing education units (CEU) (selected states for True Champion members) webinar that will explore the biology and management of common mosquitos. Topics that will be discussed include the life cycle, behavioral ecology and distribution of mosquitos, as well as a review of recommended chemicals for their control.

FMC True Champions have an opportunity to earn CEUs in selected states: Arizona, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Montana, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont and West Virginia.

The webinar speaker will be Chelle Hartzer, BCE. She is the consulting entomologist at 360 Pest Consulting and has been working with the pest management industry for more than a decade. She helps small and mid-sized pest control companies by providing them with expert troubleshooting, the most up-to-date technical information, quality training, and much more.

Hartzer holds a bachelor of science in entomology from the University of Delaware and an master of science in entomology from Kansas State University. She is a board certified entomologist in urban and structural entomology.
