The third annual WorkWave user conference, Beyond Service 24, took place Jan. 7-10 at the Hilton Orlando in Florida.
Attendees who work in pest control; lawn care; heating, ventilation and air conditioning; and other asset-based field service companies learned more about WorkWave, its software and how it can benefit companies. The event was also an opportunity for attendees to network with fellow software users within their industries. Beyond Service 25 will take place Feb. 2-5, 2025, in Dallas, Texas.
GROWING STRONG WorkWave CEO David Giannetto presented his executive keynote address Monday morning. He shared how both the Holmdel, N.J.-based company and the conference have grown over the past three years.
2024 HONOREES On Tuesday evening — gathering safely during a tornado watch — WorkWave hosted the 2024 Beyond Service Awards. The Outperform Award winners for each service category included Certus for PestPac and Bug-N-A-Rug Exterminators for Coalmarch. GAME ON WorkWave hosted a tailgate to watch the NCAA College Championship game Monday night. The event was sponsored by WorkWave partner Wisetack. Attendees competed for prizes playing ping-pong, pool, air hockey and foosball during the watch party. One of the prizes was a signed photo of Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end.
TALKING BUSINESS Tuesday’s guest keynote speaker, author David Avrin, CSP, is president of The Customer Experience Advantage, which is both a consultancy and a podcast. In his session, “Outperforming Expectations with Engagement in Field Service,” Arvin discussed how the field service business has changed in recent years because of the COVID pandemic and people’s need for instant gratification.
