Ideal Pest Control acquires Western Exterminating Co.

Ideal Pest Control recently acquired Western Exterminating Co. Both firms are family-owned and -operated, and serve the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, market.

Verne Peterson is the owner of Western Exterminating. He is a past president and life member of the Texas Pest Control Association. Peterson is joined at Western Exterminating by his two daughters, Nancy and April, his son-in-law, Ed, and his granddaughter, Baylee.

Kortney Paul, owner of Ideal Partners, said in the news release, “We’re very excited to welcome the team from Western Exterminating into the Ideal Partners family. I am happy Verne felt he found his home after the first meeting and look forward to joining our forces to better serve our customers and achieve new heights.”

After 61 years at Western Exterminating, Peterson’s hard work and devotion to his family, friends, employees and customers is inspiring.

When tasked with the decision of selling, Peterson said, “Our mission is always quality service, not rushing through jobs to make more stops. It is so important to find the person and company that we believe will take care of all our current employees and customers.”

Following meeting the Ideal Pest Control team and discussions with owner Kortney Paul, Peterson said, “It is the perfect fit.”
