Thomas Pest Services receives back-to-back awards

Within the last several weeks, Schenectady, N.Y.-based  Thomas Pest Services has been recognized for outstanding achievements by its employees, community and customers through two separate awards.

The 2024 Top Workplaces award comes from the Times Union, which uses a benchmarking system based on more than 23 million surveys from more than 70,000 organizations. This third-party survey and process contains no subjective elements, making it a credible, authentic employer recognition program. Thomas Pest Services won the golden 2024 Top Workplaces badge by prioritizing employees’ well-being and fostering a positive work culture. Thomas Pest Services received the second rank among 39 small businesses having under 99 employees.

“We pride ourselves on being a relationship-centered, community-driven pest control company, so our team is already the heart and soul of Thomas Pest Services,” Vice President Sarah Thomas-Clark said in a news release. “We’ve always tried to create a supportive, rewarding, and engaging workplace — this award tells us we’re on the right track.”

In addition to the recent Top Workplaces win, Thomas Pest Services secured the title of “Best Pest Control Company” for the second year in a row from the Times Union’s “Best of the Capital Region.”

“Receiving this award from the local community was especially meaningful. Winning twice in two years demonstrates the consistency and care on which Thomas Pest prides itself,” the company said in a statement.

“Pest issues aren’t the most comfortable problem to have, so we’re glad to make the process easy for our customers,” Thomas-Clark added in the news release. “That’s why we ‘treat little things like big things’— so you don’t have to worry about either.”
