Houston, Texas-based Termite Watkins Services, a leading provider of pest and termite control solutions, has acquired local colleague Farmers Termite Management, an historic termite control company. The acquisition was completed by co-owners Rusty and Gina Farmer.
With this acquisition, Termite Watkins Services’ Termite Watkins Pest brand “gains access to a broader customer base and strengthens its position as a trusted name in the pest control industry,” according to the news release.
“We are excited to welcome Farmers Termite Management into the Termite Watkins family,” Bob Howard, director of acquisitions for Termite Watkins Services, said in the news release. “This acquisition aligns with our growth strategy of acquiring quality, time-proven companies in the Houston area.”
Rusty Farmer said he and Gina consider the deal to be a win-win: “Selling our company of over 45 years was an emotional adventure, and they were patient and understanding throughout the entire process.”
