Perimetek Pest Management
Perimetek Pest Management was recognized as one of the Central New York (CNY) Business Journal‘s Best Places to Work for 2024. The award highlights the company’s commitment to creating a positive and supportive work environment for its employees.

The selection process for the Best Places to Work involved an evaluation of workplace policies, practices and demographics, as well as an employee survey to measure satisfaction and engagement. Perimetek Pest Management stood out for its emphasis on work-life balance, continuous professional development and a supportive team culture.
Pest Management Systems
Pest Management Systems Inc. (PMi) was awarded a Gold Telly Award in the category of Local TV-Branding Campaign. The winning campaign was the brainchild of the creative team from Spectrum Reach’s production agency, Kernel. The Telly Awards honor excellence in video and television across all screens — honoring local, regional and cable television commercials.
Account Manager Derek Hillenbrand and Producer Chris Powell were brought in when Andrew Hicks, VP of operations for PMi, wanted some out-of-the-box creative for their new on-air campaign. Powell mocked up storyboards featuring all the services PMi wished to advertise. The main branding ad, Misfits, was done by early May. Mosquito was completed by late May. Termite hit in early June, and the final ad in the campaign, Moisture, was on-air in September. The four nationwide Gold winners can be seen here.
Town and Country Pest Solutions
Town and Country Pest Solutions received a Silver Telly Award in three Campaign categories: Business-to-Business, Business-to-Consumer and Products/Services for its web series Around Town.
Around Town is a short-form video series chronicling the variety of services available through Town and Country Pest Solutions and is meant to provide viewers some insight into the worlds of pest control and wildlife management.
Established in 1979, The Telly Awards receives over 13,000 entries from all 50 states and five continents. Entrants are judged by The Telly Awards Judging Council, an industry body of over 200 leading experts including advertising agencies, production companies and major television networks.
