There’s no question PMPs are challenged with keeping rodent populations under control. Remember, two rats can produce 15,000 offspring in a year!
SenesTech has an innovative, proactive solution that targets the root cause of the problem: reproduction. Instead of trying to keep up with the growing numbers of infestations, SenesTech’s contraceptive baits control the entire rat population by restricting their fertility to control the population and stop infestations before they start.
SenesTech recently launched its trademarked Evolve line of soft bait products: Evolve and Evolve Mouse. They are EPA-registered in the 25(b) category, which is considered minimum risk to people or pets when used as directed, through the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
SenesTech’s solutions complement other rodent control products and enhance results. While rodenticides can knock down the population quickly, any remaining survivors can quickly repopulate because of rodents’ short reproductive cycles, large litter sizes, and ability to reinvade new areas. Fertility control prevents rodents from increasing their numbers for an outcome that is more effective and sustainable.
PREDICTIONS: Pressure from the public and regulators to limit or eliminate the use of lethal rodent control methods continues to grow every day. This is driving the need to look at new, proactive solutions to pest control. Evolve and Evolve Mouse are exactly that — “rodent birth control” that represents the next evolution of rodent control.
