Ken Kosiorek, a Perry Hall, Md.-based industry veteran who spent more than three decades as the Mid-Atlantic region sales representative for both Target Specialty Products and its legacy company, Residex, died Aug. 29. He was 56.
“It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge this loss, as Ken was not only a dedicated team member but also a friend and mentor to many of us,” Target Specialty Products President David Helt noted when sharing the news with employees. “Ken overcame his own personal health battles for years, while always showing up for work and contributing immensely to his colleagues, customers and our company, and brought a unique spirit to our workplace. His passion and commitment were evident in everything he did, and his energy and drive will be greatly missed by all of us.”
Per Kosiorek’s online obituary, where fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be posted to the family, calling hours will take place at the Schimunek Funeral Home in Nottingham, Md., on Friday, Sept. 6, 2024, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2024, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fullerton, Md. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Kosiorek’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project at WoundedWarriorProject.org or to Disabled American Veterans at DAV.org.
