  • Regional events. The NPMA hosts a series of regional conferences designed for focused learning and local networking. These include the Eastern Conference (Jan. 23-24, 2025, Pocono Manor, Pa.), the Mid-Atlantic Summer Conference (July 31-Aug. 2, 2025, Savannah, Ga.), and more.
  • Specialized events. The NPMA also offers such events as the Wildlife Expo (Jan. 29-31, 2025, Orlando, Fla.) to get specific solutions for your customers’ wildlife challenges; the NPMA Legislative Day event (March 9-11, 2025, Washington, D.C.) to advocate for the industry; and the Women’s Forum (May 12-14, 2025, Austin, Texas) to empower women in pest management.

Lead and shape the future

Aspiring industry leaders can take the next step with the NPMA’s dedicated programs, including:

  • Executive Leadership Program (ELP). This prestigious two-year program identifies and develops future association leaders. ELP provides participants with professional development, mentorship and access to NPMA events, equipping them to assume leadership roles within the NPMA and the industry. The application window for 2025 closes Nov. 15.
  • Leader Launch. This program identifies high-potential individuals for top leadership positions in the NPMA. It offers in-depth exposure to the association’s operations and prepares participants to become effective leaders and decision-makers. If you see yourself shaping the future of the NPMA, apply by Aug. 31.
  • NPMA Academy. This annual event is designed to cultivate leadership skills in emerging leaders within the pest management industry. Through a combination of team-building exercises, educational sessions and networking opportunities, Academy participants gain valuable insights and hone their leadership potential. Mark your calendars for Academy’s 30th anniversary event, July 15-17, 2025, in Indian Wells, Calif.

Engage and build your network

Building connections is crucial for success. The NPMA facilitates meaningful interactions for its members through:

  • NPMA Hives. These online groups connect members for focused discussions on specific topics. With a time commitment of only 30 minutes per week for nine weeks, Hives offer a time-efficient way to expand your network and share knowledge. New Hives form throughout the year, so check here for upcoming dates.
  • Council and committee volunteer opportunities. Contribute your expertise and collaborate with industry colleagues by volunteering for the NPMA’s various councils and committees. These groups tackle key issues and shape the direction of the association. Learn more at NPMApestworld.org/volunteer.
