NaturZone Pest Control assists to support Feeding Tampa Bay fight hunger

Sarasota, Fla.-based NaturZone Pest Control became an annual giving member of Feeding Tampa Bay (FTB) four years ago. This year, the company is committing $25,000 to support FTB’s mission of fighting hunger and providing food security to families in the region. With a network of partners, volunteers and donors, the organization aims to break the cycle of hunger through education and support programs.

“We are incredibly proud to support Feeding Tampa Bay,” said Andrew Longfellow, president of NaturZone Pest Control. “Their work is vital to our community and we are honored to contribute to such a worthy cause.”

The company first partnered with FTB during the COVID-19 pandemic to help those facing food insecurity. In 2023, NaturZone replaced September’s monthly meeting with a team volunteer event at FTB, the success of which Longfellow credits to the teamwork involved in sorting items and the sense of giving back to the community.

The $25,000 annual commitment goes beyond financial support as NaturZone is actively participating in FTB’s initiatives, including:

1. Volunteer efforts: The team will be regularly volunteering at FTB’s distribution centers and events, helping to sort and distribute food to those in need.
2. Awareness campaigns:  NaturZone is leveraging its public platform to raise awareness about food insecurity in its community and promote the work FTB is doing.
3. Collaborative events:  NaturZone plans to host joint events and fundraisers to further support FTB’s mission and engage more community members in the fight against hunger.

Additionally, the company plans to offer future opportunities for team members to engage in volunteering, promoting a sense of purpose, teamwork and community involvement.
