Rocket Pest Control recently partnered with The Bair Foundation to host a “Back to School Splash Bash” for foster children and their families in the Charleston, S.C. area. The event provided a fun and supportive sendoff into the new school year, while also raising awareness about the needs of foster children in the local community.

The Splash Bash featured activities, including a water slide, foam pit, face painting, volleyball, games, crafts, delicious food and music.

“We wanted to create an unforgettable day for these children, who have already faced so many challenges in their lives,” said Cherissa Vandergriff, chief marketing officer of Rocket Pest Control. “The joy and laughter we saw at the Splash Bash truly warmed our hearts, and we’re so grateful to our sponsors and the local community for helping us make it happen.”

The Bair Foundation, a therapeutic foster care agency, has been serving vulnerable youth for over 50 years. Many of the children they care for have experienced abuse, trauma and neglect, and the organization works to bring about meaningful change in their lives.

In addition, Rocket’s Charleston branch is now an official drop-off location for donations to support The Bair Foundation and the children they serve.

“We are deeply thankful to everyone who came out to support The Bair Foundation and help create a day of joy for these foster children,” said Vandergriff. “Together, we can continue to make a difference in the lives of children in need.”
