Innolytics, the La Quinta, Calif.-based manufacturer of “pigeon birth control” product OvoControl P, revealed its distributor in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Desert Kings DXB, sponsored and received the registration for OvoControl P.
OvoControl P is a ready-to-use bait, dispensed on flat surfaces with a mechanical feeder. The UAE represents the first Middle East market to grant registration for the pigeon-friendly product.
In the UAE, killing the birds with lethal techniques – trap, shoot or poison – is either prohibited or socially unacceptable. OvoControl fills the need for an environmentally benign, safe and effective pigeon management tool that can be integrated with conventional control methods because the product offers contraceptive control of pest birds with a non-lethal alternative.
Desert Kings DXB has exclusive distribution rights for OvoControl in both the UAE and Oman.
