Plaistow, N.H.-based Pest-End recently hosted its annual company event, which brings together team members from across the organization to celebrate a year of hard work, achievements and dedication to its core values. The event also featured the presentation of two awards that recognize individuals who have gone above and beyond to contribute to the company’s success.

The Shining Star of the Year Award is an annual recognition for a team member who best exemplifies Pest-End’s core values. The values include supportive leadership, honesty and integrity, inspiration to wow, nurturing a collaborative environment and empowerment through positivity.

This year’s award was given to Business Development Specialist Jon Nagle.

“Jon’s unwavering dedication, kindness and helpful nature have made a significant impact, not only within the Pest-End team but also with customers, as reflected in glowing reviews throughout the year,“ the company said in a release.

“I set a personal goal in 2024 to grow as an individual and this recognition feels like a huge achievement,“ said Nagle. “I want to thank my wife, Kayla, my incredible coworkers and Pest-End for believing in me. My advice to others is to be open-minded and ready to learn—there’s always something new in this industry.”

The Shining Star of the Year Award wasn’t the only recognition that Nagle received this year. Both he and Steve Miller, initial setup technician, were the winners of Pest-End’s Closed Won Lead Contest, which is open to the entire team. Miller secured more than 40 leads that resulted in signed agreements, while Nagle contributed more than 20 closed-won leads. Their efforts have directly supported Pest-End’s continued growth and success.

PE Leadership Excellence Award

This year’s PE Leadership Excellence Award was presented to Justin Bonenfant. In 2024, Bonenfant balanced the challenging dual role of interim wildlife supervisor and wildlife business development specialist. His efforts not only rebuilt the wildlife team but also generated over $1 million in sales.

“This award means so much to me — it’s my first time stepping into a true leadership role and I wanted to embrace it fully,“ said Bonenfant. “I stayed organized, built strong routines and leaned on my team and office support to ensure success. Listening to leadership audiobooks, asking questions and staying ahead of challenges helped me grow both professionally and personally. To me, leadership is like parenting: You guide, teach and care deeply for your team, and that connection makes all the difference.“

Adam Carace, ACE, CEO of Pest-End, spoke about the importance of the company’s annual celebration.

“Our annual celebration is not just about recognizing individual excellence but about honoring the spirit of camaraderie and hard work that drives Pest-End forward,” said Carace, ACE. “Congratulations to Jon, Justin, Steve and the entire team for an incredible year. Here’s to continuing to inspire, lead and grow together!”
