Cetane Associates (“Cetane”), a financial advisory and transaction firm providing M&A expertise to the home services industries, has announced that Certus Pest (“Certus”), has acquired Good Earth Pest Control (“Good Earth”), located in Sacramento, Calif. The transaction closed on Oct. 7, 2025.
Good Earth was founded in 2012 by Kevin and Beverly Carpenter. Built on a strong entrepreneurial spirit, the company grew organically through hands-on service and a reputation for quality. Over the past 13 years, Good Earth has become a highly respected, profitable business with a dedicated team, serving communities across the Sacramento Valley, including Lincoln, Rocklin, Galt, El Dorado Hills, Davis and Woodland.
