Liphatech Inc., a longtime provider of intelligent pest control solutions, has hired Brandon Green as its South Central District sales and technical Manager. His sales territory includes Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas.

Green has a decade of experience in the pest control industry — most recently, as the vice president of operations for a major pest control company. He oversaw business operations across the state of Texas and was directly involved in tripling his former company’s customer base in two years.

“Throughout his career, Brandon has demonstrated an ability to implement strategic solutions and create growth,” Matt Titshaw, business manager at Liphatech, said in a news release. “He will be an invaluable resource for Liphatech customers looking to find effective solutions for even the toughest pest problems and provide recommendations to expand their business.”

Green noted in the release that “Liphatech has a long history of innovative and intelligent pest control products, and I look forward to being the source of the solution for end users.”

He added that he looks forward to helping his pest management colleagues: “I’ve been in our customers’ shoes before and have faced a lot of the same problems they are facing. This experience helps me approach each customer relationship with empathy and understanding.”

About Liphatech

Known for its rodent control solutions, the Milwaukee, Wis.-based manufacturer just announced this week that it is expanding its product lines by debuting several new insect control solutions this year.

Liphatech is considered to be the developer of three of the industry’s active ingredients: chlorophacinone, bromadiolone and difethialone. The company was founded in France in 1946 io develop anticoagulants for the treatment of heart patients. It developed chlorophacinone in the 1960s and branded it as Rozol, a family of products that includes grain and pelleted products for field and structural use, and a tracking powder for use in and around structures. In the 1970s, Liphatech developed bromadiolone, its original second-generation rodenticide active ingredient.

The innovations continued with the opening of its U.S. facility in 1987. Research there and in Europe resulted in the discovery of difethialone during the late 1980s, with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency registration as an active ingredient in 1995.
