Syngenta’s Advion Trio cockroach gel bait is now registered in California.
The product launched nationally in March 2024, and combines three active ingredients with different modes of action, including two insect growth regulators (IGRs), to stop cockroaches at every stage of their lifecycle.
“We’re excited pest management professionals (PMPs) in California can now experience the benefits of Advion Trio, which has been particularly effective for PMPs in other states who use it in their rotations for heavy infestations,” said Marshall Gaster, head of marketing for Professional Pest Management at Syngenta. “This California registration marks a milestone in our ongoing commitment to provide all PMPs with a robust portfolio of cockroach solutions backed by extensive research and development.”
The IGRs in Advion Trio, pyriproxyfen and novaluron, prevent first- and late-instar nymphs from maturing into adults, while the active ingredient indoxacarb targets adult populations. Its highly attractive bait matrix makes it ideal for tough cleanout jobs in residential and commercial spaces, including food-handling establishments, as directed by the label, the company says. Additionally, Advion Trio can be used as part of the SecureChoice Cockroach Assurance Program for guaranteed control when following the program’s protocols.
Advion Trio is the latest addition to the toolbox of Syngenta gel baits, which include:
- Advion Cockroach gel bait
- Advion Evolution cockroach gel bait
- Optigard Cockroach gel bait
- Advion Ant gel bait
- Optigard Ant gel bait
