
Houston, Tex.-based Termite Watkins Services, LLC, a pest and termite control company, recently announced the acquisition of Protex Pest Control, a long-established provider of pest management services founded in 1978 by Frank and Helen Merryman in Spring, Tex.
Over the last four decades, Protex Pest Control built a strong reputation for dependable service and a commitment to customer satisfaction. Serving neighborhoods throughout the greater Houston area, from Spring and The Woodlands to Midtown, Bellaire and Kingwood, Protex has maintained an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau and earned the trust of homeowners and businesses alike.
“This acquisition is an important step forward in our mission to protect more communities with the reliable, expert care that Termite Watkins Services is known for,” said Bob Howard, director of acquisitions for Termite Watkins Services, in a news release. “Frank and Helen Merryman have built an incredible legacy and we are honored to carry it forward.”

The acquisition allows Termite Watkins Services to further strengthen its presence throughout Houston and surrounding communities through its family of brands, including Coastal Fumigators, Termite Watkins Pest and True Care Remodeling.
