On Feb. 28, Women in Pest and Wildlife Control (WIP&WC) marked another milestone. The organization hosted the grand opening of its world headquarters and hall of fame, alongside the induction of its First Lady Recipient. The headquarters is located in La Grange, Texas, at the Double C Pest Control company location.
Keane inducted into HOF
Marty Keane with Nisus was chosen as the organization’s first Hall of Fame recipient. Keane’s dedication of over 37 years in the industry and willingness to aid when needed were key factors in the induction choice. She supported the WIP&WC from the beginning stages and continues to foster its growth.

WIP&WC gives thanks to industry support
The WIP&WC also extended appreciation to Nisus Corporation CEO Lee Barrett for his lasting support over recent years, including the backing of the organization’s first conference in 2019.
The organization also thanked the following people:
- Tabitha Kibodeaux with BWI
- Tony Holm with Target Specialty Products
- Howard Franklin, ACE, with Pest West
- Gabby Cash, owner of Double C Pest Control, for allowing the Headquarters and Hall of Fame to use its location.
The WIP&WC thanked all who attended the grand opening and invites those who have yet to visit to make a stop.
