SCHAUMBURG, ILL.—Central Life Sciences has selected Jeffrey O’Neill as the 2012 recipient of the “Star Performer” award for the Zoëcon Professional Products division.
This first-time award was established specifically for O’Neill to recognize his consistently impressive sales records for the years 2001-2012. As the Northeast regional manager of the Zoëcon Professional Products division, O’Neill has always been a top sales performer and has recorded the second-highest sales numbers in six of the last 11 years.
“For 31 years Jeff has been the epitome of a dependable and solid sales force for the Zoëcon Professional Products division,” says Larry Smith, director of sales for Central Life Sciences. “We are very excited to honor his achievements with the Star Performer award, as Jeff is an exceptional salesman and leader whose impressive sales records will undoubtedly continue to thrive in the future.”
O’Neill manages sales and technical support for vector and professional pest management in the entire northeast region from West Virginia up to Maine. He also provides onsite assistance to customers and has worked on a variety of accounts, including providing pest management recommendations to large zoos.
O’Neill earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental science and currently has five years toward a graduate degree in entomology at Rutgers University (New Brunswick, N.J.). He is also an active member and has been a chairman of various pest control and vector association committees. Currently he is executive director of the Delaware Pest Control Association (DPCA) PCO Short Course that provides technical training in Delaware.
As a veteran member of Pi Chi Omega, the national professional pest control fraternity, O’Neill participates in scholarship fundraising and technical support for the industry. He currently resides in Bear, Del.
