Homeowners want ant infestations to be controlled immediately. However, products such as baits and nonrepellents can take a week or longer to control ants, depending on species and colony size.
It is important to encourage customers to be patient during this time. Prepare informational brochures to share with customers, so they understand how you’ll be managing the ant problem and what they can do to help. It can include information such as ant biology, sanitation and habitat modification tips, product information and how long it will take to achieve colony control.
