Red fire ants are vicious, and they are becoming a problem in Myrtle Beach, S.C. That’s according to a report from local news station WMBF, which interviewed the owner of AAA Pest Control. Joey Davis told the station “slow-killing pesticide works best on fire ants.” He had more good advice to share, telling viewers to skip homemade remedies like bleach and gasoline. “All it does is end up killing your grass and poisoning the environment,” he says.
