Bed Bugs Major Pest Problem Half a World Away

A recent survey of residents in Dubai goes to show that pest problems are the same all over the world. Well, except for the lizards perhaps. The Dubai News Xpress reports MoveSouq.com — an online portal that pairs its clients with service providers such as movers, packers, and pest management professionals in the United Arab Emirates — teamed with a facilities and waste management company to survey Dubai residents about their pest problems. MoveSouq.com CEO Bana Shomali says her company regularly conducts surveys to get a better understanding of what clients need and a recent surge in pest control company requests led to this one. Bed bugs and cockroaches tie for the top spot, followed by ants. Spiders, snakes and lizards landed at the bottom of the list.
