Atlanta-based Arrow Exterminators announces the merger and acquisition of Universal Pest Control, Peoria, Ariz. This merger is Arrow’s second in the Phoenix market in the last 45 days.

“We are so pleased to welcome the team members and the residential and commercial customers of Universal Pest Control,” says Emily Thomas Kendrick, Arrow’s president and CEO.

“We are known for providing outstanding service to our customers, and after an extensive search, we were able to find a family company with similar values that also matches our level of service,” says Universal owner Larry Ciulla.

“Universal Pest Control has been operating at a very high level for 39 years in the Phoenix metro area,” says Tim Pollard, Arrow’s senior executive vice president and COO. “Arizona is an important market as we grow to 200 million and beyond. We continuously look to merge with high-quality companies who share our goals, principles and culture and we found the perfect fit with Universal.”

Universal will join the Arrow Exterminators office in Phoenix and will operate as Arrow Exterminators.
