Proper placement not only is key to an effective pest control solution, it may be the most critical step into the success of ridding the location of mice and rats.
First, you must tap into your inner Sherlock Holmes and find out where they are located. Based on a thorough inspection, place traps along their travel path to and from their home base. Be sure to place them behind furniture, pallets, etc., along the “route.” Mice are essentially skittish and will be more likely to investigate a new object once they feel safe.
If you don’t catch any in a certain location after a few days, don’t hesitate to change it up a little. You can change the attractant, location and even the type of trap you are using.
