More than 3,300 attendees came to PestWorld 2016, which was held Oct. 18-21 at the Washington Convention Center in Seattle, Wash.

“With just under 200 companies showing the latest in pest management products, services, and technology all in one place, people in the pest management industry knew that PestWorld 2016 was the place to be,” said NPMA CEO Dominque Stumpf.

“Our exhibitors were delighted with the quality and quantity of attendees,” she said. “By all reports, manufacturers and suppliers did a significant amount of business at PestWorld.”

The exhibit hall at this year’s event encompassed 100,000 sq. ft. Among the items on display for attendees were pest management solutions from manufacturers large and small, business related software applications, equipment for vehicles, fleet management software, business insurance representatives, as well as uniforms and uniform accessories from manufacturers and distributors.

In addition to the hundreds of exhibits, PestWorld 2016 included educational sessions on a variety of pest- and business-related topics. Each appeared to be well attended and in some cases, standing room only.

Next year, PestWorld moves to the east coast. So far, organizers are expecting another great show.

“Over 50 percent of the show floor space has been reserved for PestWorld 2017, scheduled for October 21-24, in Baltimore, Maryland,” said Stumpf. “With nearly three-quarters of the show floor already sold, we look forward to another successful event next year.”

Hotel space for attendees fills up quickly; check the NPMA’s website regularly for updates on next year’s event.
