Help protect your customers from mosquitoes by encouraging them to follow the three “D’s” recommended by the American Mosquito Control Association (AMCA):

  1. Drain. Empty water containers at least once per week. Any conditions that allow water to collect or lay stagnant provide perfect breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
  2. Dress. Wear long sleeves, long pants, and light-colored, loose-fitting clothing to reduce the risk of mosquito bites.
  3. Defend. Properly apply an approved repellent to deter mosquitoes from approaching.

Bonus tip: For even more protection against mosquitoes, it is crucial that the common resting sites of mosquitoes are treated with an appropriately labeled product. Applying barrier sprays with residual pyrethroids to non-flowering foliage is a widely accepted approach.
