Effective mosquito control strategies usually require using multiple methodologies. Finding and eliminating larval habitats is one of these important steps, and assists in providing long-term control. This can sometimes be challenging to accomplish, as it depends on identifying and addressing all current and prospective larval development sites.

If you have been working with a customer on eliminating mosquito larvae breeding sites around the house and still have adults buzzing around, try looking up. Gutters are often missed as a source of standing water and organic debris, the perfect mosquito nursery. Proper drainage and regular cleaning can solve the problem.
