Douglas Products names chief business development officer

Douglas Products hired Vince Adams for the newly created position of chief business development officer.

Adams career includes work in technical, sales, marketing and business development roles for companies that include Winfield Solutions, Stoller, FMC and Cytec. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Over the past year, Admas has served as a business development and product innovation consultant for multinational crop protection corporations in North and South America.

Wes Long, CEO of Douglas Products, says Adams will focus on biologics, plant nutrition and crop protection. “We are excited to be able to add a leader to our management team who brings a proven track record of business development success,” Long says. “His deep knowledge of the markets we serve will help Douglas Products more rapidly acquire and develop new business.”
