Bed bugs are notoriously difficult to eliminate from homes and commercial buildings, thanks to their ability to hide and thrive in cracks and crevices. When infestation signs become apparent, products containing the active ingredient dichlorvos (DDVP) can be effective at killing bed bugs, nymphs and eggs.

Aerosol applications of DDVP are best for fast treatment when people or pets cannot be displaced for more than a few hours. Inspect and spray any areas where bed bugs may live, travel or lay eggs.

DDVP strips are ideal for treating items that should not be sprayed, like electronics, art or collectibles. A strip and infested item must be placed in a thick plastic bag or sealed plastic sheeting, a sealed container or a closed room for a minimum of one week for comprehensive bed bug control.
