President of Redd Pest Solutions, Gordon Redd Jr., received one of 10 outstanding community leader awards during this year’s One Coast Awards ceremony, sponsored by the Mississippi Gulf Coast Chamber of Commerce.

“Just to be nominated brought me great joy and to actually be a recipient of the award was incredibly humbling. I’m so blessed and thankful to God for allowing me to be in the position that I am. I truly love what I do,” says Redd in a press release. Redd was represented by his family and the Redd Pest Solutions management team at the event.

In addition to recognizing outstanding community leaders in south Mississippi, the One Coast Awards also honor top 10 business leaders under 40. Recipients are anonymously nominated and selected for these awards.

The 2019 nominees and winners represented Mississippi’s three coastal counties, Jackson, Harrison and Hancock counties. They were announced and presented with their awards at an awards breakfast at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Miss.

The One Coast Awards are a re-branding of the former Roland Weeks Hall of Fame and the Sun Herald Top 10 Under 40 and Community Leader Awards.
