Flash Exterminating’s e-bikes can traverse New York City’s bike lanes, providing pest control technicians the ideal conduit to bypass the congestion of the city and serve clients in an orderly and timely fashion.

“We utilize e-bike technology to stay a step ahead of our competitors,” says James Swint, director of technology at Flash Exterminating.

“Since we’ve attached this powerful tool in our arsenal, our ‘e-bike same-day service’ has been in high demand. We guarantee same-day delivery of service and, taking it even a step further, we guarantee our time down to the hour or there is 10 percent off of your treatment.”

In addition to their strategic advantages in the local pest management market, the e-bikes address a number of operational issues. They resolve parking challenges, for instance, as well as the typical drawbacks of driving in a big city, like tickets and fuel costs. The e-bikes are an environmentally friendly alternative to driving, too.

“Parking has been a nightmare for us in the past,” says Frankly Adderley, Flash Exterminating’s quality control manager. “The concepts and protocols we use here can be adopted by pest management professionals nationwide to save them money on tickets and fuel.”

They can also help improve the health of service technicians, says the company. Flash Exterminating believes a healthy tech is a happy tech who will provide good service.
