Acknowledging assistance

The members of Pest Management Professional’s (PMP’s) Hall of Fame Class of 2019 each mentioned during their induction ceremony speeches that advice and guidance from family, friends and colleagues helped them achieved the accomplishments for which they were recognized.

When Lonnie Alonso, Judy Black, Dr. Dini Miller and David Mueller took the stage Oct. 14, the night before PestWorld 2019 kicked off in San Diego, Calif., they thanked those who pointed them toward careers in the pest control industry. Check out our coverage on p. 14 of this issue, and online at PMPPestTalk.net.

“I’m sure every one of you here recognizes that none of us would have gotten where we are without a lot of people behind us,” Alonso remarked during his acceptance speech.

It’s likely you wouldn’t be where you are today without the help of people who shared their expertise and offered encouragement. If mentors have helped you forge a rewarding path to success in the pest management industry, consider nominating them for induction in the PMP Hall of Fame.
