Pest management professionals (PMPs) who offer mosquito control know it does more than improve their customers’ quality of life by ensuring more enjoyable outdoor experiences.

Mosquito control also helps protect them from mosquito-borne viruses and diseases, including West Nile virus, the Zika virus, malaria, dengue, chikungunya, yellow fever and Eastern equine encephalitis.

With mosquito-borne illness top of mind for many customers, mosquito management work is picking up for the PMPs who offer it. Many even bundle their tick and mosquito control services to help alleviate the health concerns customers — and potential customers — might have.

Scare tactics are no way to sell pest management services, however. When customers have questions about mosquito-borne diseases and viruses, it’s best to refer them to a reputable resource, such as the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

PMPs also should help customers understand how mosquito control and the elimination of conducive conditions can help alleviate their public health concerns.

If you’re a PMP who offers mosquito control, please tell us about the services you offer. Do you bundle them with other pest control services? Are your technicians specially trained to offer mosquito control? Is demand for mosquito control high in your area? We want to know!

Share your feedback with us in this quick survey and you will be entered for a chance to win.

On March 15, we will randomly select winners for these prizes:

  • $50 gift card — 1 winner
  • $25 gift card — 2 winners

Don’t wait! Please take our mosquito management survey now. Thank you in advance for sharing your expertise.
