Rockwell hires western technical sales rep

Rockwell Labs has hired David Newfang as technical sales representative for the Western Region.

His territory will include California, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Alaska and Hawaii.

“I am most excited about helping my fellow pest management professionals with understanding the benefits and multitude of uses when choosing a botanical product, and also aiding in the education aspect of the green side of pest control and IPM,” Newfang said.

Newfang has more than 13 years of field experience in the pest management industry. He previously served as a branch manager for Dewey Pest Control in Pasadena, Calif. Newfang has also served as a pest management field representative for different California pest control companies, as well as a termite inspector and Quality Assurance specialist.

“David will be a great addition to the Rockwell sales team for the Western Region,” said James Osuch, VP of Sales for Rockwell. “His years of experience as a technician, in Quality Assurance, and as a branch manager with various pest control companies will make him an invaluable resource for Rockwell’s customers and our distribution partners. Being centrally located in the Los Angeles area will allow David to better support and engage with our customers in the Western Region.”

Newfang’s experience, field work and ongoing training and education have helped him become a subject matter expert as a pest control professional, and will continue to help him develop strong industry ties and relationships with pest management professionals (PMPs) and distributors alike.

Osuch adds that Newfang’s industry knowledge will help PMPs understand the value and efficacy of Rockwell’s product line, and help them develop potentially new revenue opportunities: from green service programs and treatment options, to mosquito control programs, to bio-sanitation programs.
