Target Specialty Products, a service provider of pest and turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, is offering tools and solutions to pest professionals to grow their bed bug business this season.

Bed Bug Awareness Week is taking place this week June 7-13, 2020. The annual education campaign is promoted by the Professional Pest Management Alliance (PPMA), which serves as the public outreach arm of the National Pest Management Association (NPMA).

PPMA encourages PMPs and industry members to join the cause by launching media relations campaigns, including devoting their company social media pages to bed bugs throughout the week and using the hashtag #BedBugWeek on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

Target Specialty Products also plans a series of bed bug-related social media posts for Bed Bug Awareness Week, which pest management professionals (PMPs) are encouraged to share with their online audiences.

This year, Target Specialty Products released a Bed Bug Awareness Week blog, offering PMPs ideas to grow their bed bug business.

The organization also invited PMPs to view its 1-hour webinar, recorded last month and sponsored by Aprehend, on ‘Developing Successful Bed Bug Protocols’ with Dr. Nina Jenkins, is an associate research professor in the Penn State Department of Entomology, and co-founder and chief technology officer of ConidioTec. PMPs can watch the recorded webinar now.

Visit Target’s website to be added to its mailing list and get notified of future educational opportunities. Headquartered in Santa Fe Springs, Calif., Target Specialty Products operates 44 locations across the United States and Canada.
