Target Specialty Products, MGK partner for webinar

Target Specialty Products, a service provider of pest and turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, will hold a 1-hour webinar on Thursday, August 27, at 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eastern. As part of its Business Growth Webinar Series of 2020, the topic is “Making Ant Control Simple with Sumari Insecticide.”

MGK Insect Control Solutions has partnered with Target for the webinar. The guest speakers will include MGK Technical Field Specialist’s J.B. Howell, Ryan Neff and Tommy Powell.

The webinar will cover MGK’s Sumari Insecticide, an ant control solution created specifically for pest management professionals (PMPs). During development, the MGK team identified several areas PMPs found challenging with ant control. MGK’s technical field specialists will walk through how MGK used this feedback and did extensive research to create Sumari.

PMPs can register for the webinar free of charge here. Attendees are invited to ask questions at the conclusion of the webinar. Please note that continuing education units (CEUs) are not available for this event.

Sumari incorporates NyGuard IGR (insect growth regulator) for maximum efficacy and boasts a versatile label that simplifies mixing and application.

About the speakers:

Ryan Neff is the West Coast technical field specialist at MGK. He holds an M.S. in Entomology from Texas A&M University and a Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of California, Riverside. Neff has been with MGK since April 2019. He provides support to PMPs in the residential, commercial and agricultural industries through technical advice, insect management protocols and field-based research.

Tommy Powell joined MGK as a technical field specialist in 2016. He received his B.S and M.S. degrees in Urban Entomology from the University of Florida. He currently works on internal projects, training, field testing and customer support for MGK’s technical team. This role gives Powell the opportunity to pursue his passion for teaching and training in pest control.

J.B. Howell is a technical field specialist for MGK. He received his B.S. in Entomology from Texas A&M University. Howell began work with MGK in April of 2009 as the south central territory manager. In 2016, he moved to MGK’s technical team where he currently works on internal projects, training, field testing and customer support.
