5 steps to effectively manage rodents

When it comes to effectively managing rodents, ensure you’re taking these five steps:

1. Inspect. Document conducive conditions with diagrams, and use thermal imaging cameras and other technologies.
2. Familiarize. Be aware of different types of construction. Plan visits with builders to see structures in various construction phases.
3. Identify. Take photos of trapped rodents, or consult extension agents and industry experts for help.
4. Communicate. Be upfront and direct with clients. Explain processes in detail with written and verbal communication, including pictures.
5. Control. Use a combination of exclusion, mechanical controls and rodenticides.
