Target Specialty Products, a service provider of pest and turf and ornamental solutions in the United States and Canada, will hold a 1-hour webinar on Thursday, April 8, at 1:30-2:30 p.m. Eastern. As part of its Business Growth Webinar Series of 2021, the topic is “Formulation Contributions in Perimeter Pest Management: Helping PMPs Eliminate Pests, Not Their Budgets.”
Bayer has partnered with Target for the webinar. Joe Barile, BCE, is the technical service lead for Bayer’s Environmental Science Division’s Pest Management & Public Health Business Group. He will be the guest speaker.
Barile will discuss formulation contributions in perimeter pest management, key steps in planning and executing this valuable service and how Bayer’s Suspend PolyZone can meet these challenges.
During the webinar, attendees will learn how Bayer’s Suspend PolyZone can efficiently target a wide spectrum of perimeter pests. Pest management professionals (PMPs) know that insecticide product choice is a key contributor to a successful perimeter pest management service. Not only does your product choice have to be effective against a wide spectrum of target pests, it must perform, and provide residual control, on a variety of tough surfaces and withstand the effects of nature (wind, precipitation and ultraviolet exposure).

ABOUT JOE BARILE
Joe Barlie, Technical Service Lead, Bayer
Barile holds a degree in entomology from the University of Massachusetts. He has been involved in urban and public health pest management since 1979, holding positions with major integrated pest management (IPM) product manufacturers, in public mosquito control, as a university extension entomologist, as a pest control technician and as the technical director of a multi-branch pest control firm.
In his position at Bayer, Barile is responsible for providing technical and training support to the internal Bayer staff and externally to customers such as PMPs, public vector control agencies and food safety specialists in the United States and Canada.
Barile has been a Board Certified Entomologist (BCE) since 1986, and is a member of the Entomological Society of America, the American Mosquito Control Association and the Grain Elevator and Protection Society. He also holds an appointment as a commissioner for the Bristol County (Mass.) Mosquito Control Project.
