Schopen Pest Solutions promotes 2 employees

Schopen Pest Solutions has promoted Christopher Baumann from branch manager to director of operations, and Mark Berry was promoted from quality control manager to branch manager of Schopen’s flagship McHenry, Ill., branch.

Baumann and Berry both joined Schopen Pest Solutions in April 2018 and have steadily helped build an exciting and engaging company culture while delivering pest control services to their clients.

Baumann moved from field technician to branch manager and helped Schopen Pest Solutions realize its goal of 25 percent year-over-year growth during his tenure as branch manager. He is a participant in the National Pest Management Association’s Executive Leadership Program and is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. Baumann resides in McHenry, Ill., with his wife, Jessica, and three children, Jacob, Sarina and Bennet. In his free time, he watches his kids do what they love and volunteers with Kids In Need in McHenry County.

Berry was promoted from field technician to quality control manager in January 2021. During his tenure as quality control manager, Berry ensured client retention by tackling tough pest issues and responding to emergency situations. He also ensured that Schopen Pest Solutions technicians were working to company standards by visiting client’s homes to verify the thoroughness of past technicians’ visits. He is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin. He resides in McCullom Lake, Ill., with his three cats and enjoys fishing in his free time.
