Industry expert launches Pro Source Consulting

Industry expert Jared Harris, ACE, launched Pro Source Consulting.

“I started in the termite trenches over 25 years ago, and have since worked almost every position in the industry,” Harris said in a news release.

Over the past 18 years, Harris was a sales specialist for BASF, which included doing research, customer care and sales. Harris said in the news release that the pest and law care industries have seen major changes over the last few years.

Pro Source Consulting will meet the need for small, medium and large pest management companies to have access to experience in business analytics, sales and marketing analytics, management and owner coaching.

The consulting company will also provide CEU training for state associations, sale and CEU training for providers, litigation review with industry insurance providers and new products review and trailing with major manufacturers.

He joined Topeka, Kan.-based Home Run Termite and Pest Services last month. Home Run is his first “contract consultant pest management professional (PMP),” Harris told PMP magazine.

“I am their technical manager providing them with technical assistance, and ‘talent’ for their local TV appearances,” Harris said. “Additionally, I provide them with business analytics and sales training.”

The services that Harris provides to Home Run Termite and Pest, he also provides to any PMP with similar needs based on its market.

Harris has been married to his wife for 26 years and have raised four, now adult, children. When he is not working, his hobbies include raising beef cattle and riding motorcycles.
