Envu plans to begin its future next week at the National Pest Management Association’s (NPMA’s) PestWorld event in Boston, Mass., as a standalone company focused solely on environmental science — contingent on the successful close of Cinven’s acquisition of the business from Bayer.

Pronounced “ehn-view,” the Cary, N.C.-based company will celebrate its future with the entire pest management industry at PestWorld. This year, Bayer Pest Management and Public Health will have a significant PestWorld presence:

  • Opening Keynote Address: On Tuesday, Oct. 11, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern, Gilles Galliou, CEO of Environmental Science; and Gokhan Vergon, head of Professional Pest Management, will present the opening keynote address about the changing industry and how pest management professionals (PMPs) play a vital role in addressing some of the industry’s biggest challenges.
  • Envu Celebration: To celebrate the beginning of Envu, attendees are invited to visit booth #1416 following the opening keynote address.
  • Educational Session: On Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 1:30 p.m. Eastern, Dr. Kurt Vandock will discuss how integrated pest management (IPM) is crucial to disease prevention. Serious, even fatal diseases can be spread or triggered by a wide variety of pests. Dr. Vandock will talk about how pest control companies have the perfect opportunity and a responsibility to educate customers about the threats posed by pests and the industry’s role as protectors of public health.

Interactions with experts

PestWorld attendees are encouraged to visit booth #1416 to interact with the dedicated team of Envu experts, to learn more about Envu’s cutting-edge product portfolio, which includes Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel, Barricor SP Insecticide, Temprid FX Insecticide, the Rodent Monitoring System, and Suspend PolyZone Insecticide.

Booth attendees will also learn about new research that demonstrates the success of Maxforce Fleet Ant Bait Gel in controlling ants year-round indoors and outdoors. Also, learn about the wide range of products that are now certified for hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), providing more options for food-handling situations.

“We are ready to make history at PestWorld,” said Vergon. “We are bringing all the great products pest management professionals depend on as well as the visionary people they trust. Let’s connect and start taking on the toughest challenges together.”
