Effective and targeted product applications for German cockroach (Blattella germanica) management services relies on the answers to some key questions:

• Where are the cockroach harborages?
• On what are they feeding?
• Where are their moisture sources?
• What other conducive conditions are contributing to their survival and success?

Whichever appropriately labeled product you choose to use, it’s best to make applications to the areas in and around the cockroach harborages. That’s opposed to applications to areas away from the harborages, where only brief or occasional exposure might occur. German cockroaches will spend much of their time in dark crevices during the day, typically near their moisture and food sources. A carefully selected product for use as a crack-and-crevice treatment can put the insecticide right where the cockroaches are known to hide.
