The Gator100 announced its 2023 winners in March, and recognized its recipients at an award ceremony on April 21 at the University of Florida (UF) campus.
The Gator100 celebrates the world’s fastest-growing businesses led by UF alumni. To qualify for the award, a company must have been in business for at least five continuous years, be owned or led by a University of Florida alum, have annual revenues of $250,000 or more, and operate in sync with the values and images of the University of Florida. This year, the Gator100 recognized companies from over 18 industries with 77 companies based in Florida.
“Being recognized as a Gator100 business for the second consecutive year is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team,” Luke Lewis, founder and president of Native Pest Management and a UF alum, said in the news release. “We’re proud to represent the University of Florida and to have built a successful business that aligns with the values and principles of my alma mater. We look forward to continuing to provide residents of Florida with safe and effective pest control solutions for years to come.”
“These UF alumni-owned or -led companies create jobs, add value to our communities, and make an impact around the world,” said Brian K. Danforth, assistant vice president of development and executive director of the UF Alumni Association. “These 2023 honorees represent the very best of our Gator entrepreneurs and business leaders. They shine a bright light on the University of Florida and the graduates it produces – people with vision, drive and determination.”
